The Club is trying to increase the number of Competitions it organizes and participates in – for example, see the developing talent blog.
Club events
Currently the club is organizing three main races a year which are attended by athletes from across Tanzania:
- The Karibu Road Race (our premier event – in 2011 the race was moved to the end of March)
- The Masika Mountain Bike Race (March)
- The Vuli Mountain Bike Race (October)
National Events
The club participates in other races that are held by clubs in Tanzania – Dodoma, The Vodacom Challenge – Mwanza and Zanzibar.
International Events
The club is working to improve its attendance in international events in the east African region and further afield, but currently it is constrained by resources and logistical challenges. Nevertheless, we have managed to send our best to compete in the Tour de Rwanda in recent years!
